TRIATHLON

The triathlon has been part of the history of Club Natació Barcelona since 1987 when it organized the first regulated and international level event in Spain, held as part of the Festes de la Mercè: the final of the Le Coq Sportif European Circuit.

That same year, the Club already formed the triathlon section. And it was the seat of the Catalan Triathlon Committee and the National Triathlon Commission, both chaired by our partner Rosendo Blanch de Nicolau.

Our triathletes are a national and international benchmark. Club Natació Barcelona has been, and continues to be, one of the leading clubs in triathlon and its derived modalities (duathlon, aquatlón), both in Catalonia and nationally, and has trained athletes of international stature.

A training school for the youngest, the TRIescola, has been running for a few years now.

​

Given the current demand (approximately 25% of the federations in Catalonia are minors), the growth that this sport presents (more than a 56% increase in tests and participations) and the lack of other schools in Barcelona, we can say very high that they are a benchmark in Barcelona. In this way, the CNB gives the option of practicing the triathlon to all ages.

The CNB not only has magnificent facilities for the practice of triathlon as a strong point, but also has more than 75 triathletes, 5 training groups and 4 coaches who will guide, plan and motivate you so that you can achieve the your goals
