HISTORY
The Jumps are a minority water sport that consists of jumping from a platform located at a certain height over a pool doing acrobatics. It is a sport that combines aesthetics with technique and precision. The difficulty of the jump is marked by the number of acrobatics (deadlifts and twisters), the height of the platform or springboard from which you jump and the starting position of the jump - which can be forward, backward, reverse, inside or in balance
The judges score the plasticity and technique when making the jump, not the difficulty because this is marked by the coefficient assigned to each jump.
The jumps are contested in both male and female categories. Currently there are the following Olympic modalities:
1 meter springboard jump.
3 meter springboard jump.
10 meter lever jump.
3 meter synchronized springboard jump.
10 meter synchronized lever jump
