Recreational Pool Regulations

RULES FOR USE AND CONDUCT IN THE POOL, SOLARIUM AND POOL BEACH AREAS CLUB NATACIÓ BARCELONA


GENERAL RULES

  • Entry is not permitted for children under 14 years of age unless accompanied by an adult or responsible person (Decree 95/2000, of 22 February).

  • Reserving or occupying sun loungers without using them at the time is not permitted. Club staff may remove belongings left unattended for more than 30 minutes.

  • The use of music devices is not allowed in either the solarium or the pool areas. They may be used with headphones, provided they do not disturb other members enjoying the area.

  • Nudism is not permitted anywhere within the Club facilities.

  • Smoking or the use of electronic cigarettes is prohibited within the Club.

  • Taking photographs or recording videos inside CNB is strictly prohibited without the express authorization of the Club Management, which will only be granted under very specific conditions.

  • Instructions from staff and lifeguards are mandatory. Failure to comply immediately may result in disciplinary sanctions.

  • The pool dimensions are 10 x 5 m and the maximum capacity is 25 people.


HYGIENE

  • Street footwear is not permitted within the enclosure. Pool footwear must be used or shoe covers worn.

  • Showering before entering the water is mandatory.

  • Changing clothes around the pool area is not permitted. Changing rooms must be used.

  • Eating within the pool enclosure and bringing in glass containers is not permitted.

  • Access is not permitted to individuals with contagious or skin diseases and/or any condition that may be contagious or harmful to third parties.

  • Showering with soap in the pool showers is not permitted.

  • The use of a towel on sun loungers is mandatory.

  • All rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided, and the area must be kept clean.

  • The use of sunscreen before sun exposure is recommended (SPF 30 or higher).


SAFETY

  • Dangerous games and activities such as running, jumping, or pushing are not permitted.

  • It is advisable to move around the pool deck wearing pool footwear.

  • The use of swimming goggles is recommended.

  • The use of equipment not intended for swimming (balls, inflatable mattresses, etc.) is not permitted unless supervised by a sports technician.

  • Free apnea diving, with or without air tanks, is not permitted unless supervised by a specialist and with the express authorization of the Club Management.

  • The pool will be closed if chlorine levels fall below 0.5 ppm or exceed 3 ppm.
